I have to be honest. I understand and sympathise with people who feel left out or that cannot conform to being labelled. I can see and imagine being someone so unhappy as a female or a male, and them being so unhappy with the world as is, that they want to basically create a whole brand new identity, gender-related or not.
What I can't understand is the fact that they DO NOT understand how this affects language and speech in so many ways and they want to force others to conform to their new language/speech/identity.
And that is simply imposing THE WILL OF ONE over the will of all.
That spells tyranny.

We adopted the word "gay" in English to use it as the Spanish version of "gay."
So even gay in Spanish is said and pronounced as "gay".
I would have to learn what the word would be for someone who'd consider themselves a non-binary because I've not lived in Mexico since the 1990's and a lot of these language changes have been happening/imposed from the 2020's.
Heres a breadcrumb for you, Spanish defaults to masculine:
The masculine form is used to refer to mixed groups of males and females. Thus, depending on the context, los muchachos can mean either the children or the boys. Las muchachas can refer only to the girls.

I was amazed when you mentioned that German also uses the F/M "conjugation" or adaptation for nouns and adjectives.
I always thought it to be somewhat exclusive to the Roman derived languages. Considering how English doesn't do that at all.
