 Same, except I never started listening to NPR. 

It's been an amazing few years since then, like seeing the matrix for the first time

 The matrix is also something I'm not so impressed with. I do understand the reference. 

I've studied Buddhism and Hinduism as well as Christianity, Islam... I see that there are many who are asleep. I also understand that staying awake is part of the process, too. 

You can have a great revelation and then fall back asleep.
