I don’t think of Nostr as a privacy tool. I consider it more a censorship resistant speech tool. So I can say what I want and be pretty sure anyone could read it, but I don’t think it does a great job at helping me hide who I am… unless I create some sort of nym/anon account?
The two tools often overlap... Speech in oppressive countries isn't ever free.
Thinking about things like VPNs/IP address hiding from relays?
TOR is the best they have in that scenario but would you literally bet your life on it? They need Nostr to do more.
