I'd be happy with that solution. Over time, the issue of what to call 100 million bitcoin will diminish as the medium is spread across the globe. And it now avoids having to deal with 8 decimal points.
Hmmm, I'm on the fence. I see the logic, but I think that kind of change needed to happen years ago. I think you are right though. Once the supply is sufficiently distributed, people may just refer to individual sats as bitcoins purely for a Quality of Life purpose. It'll be interesting to see what happens.
Indeed! We won’t be around, but imagine when, what we call ‘millisats’ become the standard. It’s ‘bitcoin’ all the way down.
