yeah,  Randall Carlson is the man.  I do believe we had a cataclysm to some extant that created the "Great Flood" - in fact, a lot of Abraham scripture is based off Sumerian scripture. At some point there was a "great flood" and many ancient scriptures talk about this, especially Sumerian and Egyptians.  

 I was already looking into links between the Younger Dryas and flood myths,when the Randall Carlson came along and had really put things together.
