Some people see this and think it's ugly oh no what have they done to the scenery. I see this and I think "nice, this is the solarpunk future I want to live in, this is fucking gangster, we milk the sun and slow down the winds". https://image.nostr.build/025f4ecac4462a18ea68b6c55f29ad602a7f25460c4e13b30f1a276ad9b7325a.jpg nostr:nevent1qqs09kcztepneaqjdy6kaj69gx90yf7n39f50r8h0wz3kdjknkpyg6gpzamhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuurjd9kkzmpwdejhgtczyr4tpe6k6v4cp0x5vneas39cqspsxp66z04tcdve5a3vntr6hy057qcyqqqqqqgq4slx2
💯! I wonder if some fucks from the old times also found those ugly https://m.primal.net/JEOD.jpg
I’m always drawn to wind farms, their epic proportions contrasted against the flat landscapes and added bonus they capture energy! It’s nice to have different views/options!
When I was young and green my thoughts were the same. Meanwhile I prefer energy made from stardust from supernovae in massive concrete citadels. More reliable, more efficient, more friendly to environment. #thereisnotenoughnuclearonnostr
If they don't force me to build it on my propery or pay for it ... IDFC
Wish it were like K-Pax and we could siphon all the energy we needed from light alone. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g9I2wiABpp8
I always found it fascinating rather than repulsive. Besides, you can just take them down again one day
Infrastructure is generally beautiful, except windmills which, where I live, convey central planning, theft, corporate grift, resource waste, statism, and pollution. Nothing free or beautiful about them.
