Went though a dozen last year. The cute ones I found on apps were 90% damaged. They lied about their past, that they indeed have kids (despite saying they don’t), some were even married. Found a good one in the wild but modern dating is 1000% different than it was. Just grateful didn’t get finessed along the way. It’s a deeper conversation, and my perspective has changed dramatically from beliefs I held 3 years ago.
💯 the main issue is apps for dating. Its dating!! Who in their right mind would ever use an app for that. The past 10 years, people all of a sudden switched over to apps for dating. NO WONDER they have issues. If I was single the last place I would expect to find an honest woman would be a dating app like Tinder. Its the joke clown world of dating. When it first came out I was SHOCKED to see friends use it. Right away I knew it would attract low quality and no integrity people to the dating digital space.
It was definitely an easier way to prequalify people based on looks, values, and mutual goals, but if one (or all of those things) is a lie, the entire thing becomes much more deceptive and challenging. I sure men take advantage of women too, but now online dating is all purely a game and it’s a regular occurrence; getting played. I was in a 10 year committed relationship when those apps arrived and became the way I’m majority of people found their partners. If you ask Wedding Photographer, they’ll tell you that most of their couples met on apps. I got into all of it late, and I’m just grateful. I found a good one so I could delete these fiat plagues from my phone.
Its 💯 a game. Tinder should not qualify as dating.
I spent a few years on dating apps, worst experience ever, honestly I only went on one date & she was a crazy, she stalked me for 2 years… Lmfao such an ego killer… I just choose to be lonely now lmfao…

Another issue is people date people they dont know. SO WEIRD! Thats not how it works 🤣😂 You need to befriend someone first. Dating some laterrrrr. People have no patience. They will never find true love.
TBH, I was on a rampage after my last relationship that ended a calendar year ago. Apps served their purpose getting me through that time, but also left a lot to be desired. Apps are the only way I know to secure 3-4 dates a week, and if you show up with good energy and you can afford to pay the bill, you’re getting laid. In that way, as long as you can control your emotions, it’s great, but if you’re looking for something serious, it takes much more scrutiny and digging because women generally have exponentially more options than men on those apps, and you just can’t trust that level of casual promiscuity.
See, this is what these app create. This type of behavior. Its honesty disgusting no offense. To use another person like that. The creator of these apps knows exactly people will use this tech to exploit another person for their satisfaction. Its so morally wrong. Both men and women are doing this. Their growing up thinking this is healthy and normal. A kids first dating experience will easily he this and its groomed an entire generation into pervertedness. 3-4 dates per week. Thats terrible! That only tells me women refuse another date with you or that its only dating for 1 night stands. There needs to be a serious change in terminology. There is datind and there are one night stands.
