Who is the architect of your consciousness? https://image.nostr.build/011e09380feeffe270cc18bfb43cfa163bad1f251a8e9d9d944daa42b3027d13.jpg

Do we truly possess free will, or does our future hold a predetermined course, scripted by forces beyond our control?

Perhaps a delicate balance of autonomy and determinism exists, where our decisions are influenced by the unknown and personal agency.
I do not think future holds a predetermined course. But events and such influence and predetermine the near future.

I think then our actions are contingent upon the reality in which we live. We have free will inside this reality, but we are not free to choose whatever we want or whichever action we want to take ignoring the physical realm. (Our we could but the outcome might not be good for our physical selves).

The further off the reality, the more we can choose. The near future is more determined than the distant future. A balance as you say.

But then also randomness. It doesn’t matter how hard we choose or manifest. Suddenly the universe has set in motion a car running into you or lightning electrocuting you. You could not have seen it coming, or had any meaningful will to avoid it.

I think the quantum physicists discussed this. Bohr etc. in fact didn’t they say multiple realities exists. One reality for every possibility.
Your comment made me consider something else:

If every possibility plays out in a separate universe, then the concept of choice and randomness becomes an illusion, and the multiverse as a whole can be considered predetermined, with every possible outcome already set in motion! 🫨

But... Who really knows? 🤷‍♂️
Unless choices to some extent exist inside each universe and then spawns another universe with the inverse outcome.

I think then we can consider free will (randomness) to exist to some extent.

But yeah. It is not so easy to prove. 🫠

Questions that beg more questions! 🤔
 Indeed!😎
Jesus my God. He created all things, visible and invisible.
As far as I see it: Jesus is an embodied frame of the epitome of 'good', a gateway for moral conduct to achieve higher realms of being.

Alas, walking in his footsteps is no easy feat.
We are each the creators of our own universes from which our consciousness expands.

I'm not sure there's an architect as such, since expansion requires going into the unknown.

I suspect that this earth realm was created by another consciousness & that we have agreed to partake in this experience. While we each focus our consciousness on particular timelines within our own earth experience, there's a consensus of sorts being reached.
The interplay of consciousness is manifesting a holographic projection of reality. A simulated game of: Life.
