 The fire is taking shape…

For those curious, this is orange honeycomb calcite. It’s a relatively soft stone, but it fractures easily, so you can’t use hammer and chisel. Rotary tools only.

But the translucency is out of this world, especially once it’s polished to a high shine. https://image.nostr.build/ee7f221037e4ff0f47739a648f0ee18bc6f2ff84396f2d2d5509e9675160e3ee.jpg
 Oooohh cool.
 Looking great!
Do you have some videos of you working?
Thanks. Not for this piece yet. Will try to grab some video tomorrow if I’m able to work outside rather than indoors. I have a sort of indoor dust collection tent but it’s cramped and hard to take video in there with all the dust flying around.
 Ah,
I wish I could see it and touch it!
Lovely!🙏🏻😃💜🫂💖😆🚀
 The colors are beautiful.
 Sick!
Oh wow! This is awesome 🔥🔥
 Beautiful
Are you going to load the core with a light or just let it be?
Definitely planning to incorporate a strong light source. Likely I’ll hide it inside a separate base made from a darker stone, so the light shines upward from underneath.
Wow Brekkie. Nice seeing again your art 🖼️ . I remember when you started some years ago and I was wondering wow, that is so good.

Congrats! Impressive work.

Hope one day I can get one marble art from your hands to my home. 🍊😃
Thanks Manu🤝. One day hopefully! I do have some things available on my website if you’re interested..
Thanks!! I was admiring the work there. I suppose it's a hassle, but it would be nice to see it in a gallery. Being art, I guess making them travel must not be easy.

For now, I'll keep stacking sats. And I hope that maybe at Bitcoin Las Vegas 2025 or another conference, I'll be able to see them in person.
Yeah unfortunately the cost of shipping stone around is significant… although I think I will be attending Adopting Bitcoin in San Salvador and I’m planning to bring some smaller pieces with me.
 Nice! 👏
