 99% of them start from the Atlantic and move into the gulf. This one is unusual. 
 That I understand but isn't the gulf fairly hot water and isn't that more of a reason for its size, I just dont know how this works I'm just asking you one question:  DO I PUT ON MY TINFOIL HAT NOW OR LATER?! 
 There is a long list of cat 3 and 4 hurricanes that started in the Gulf and made landfall in the U.S.

 So save my tinfoil then?  I was getting excited.  Incoming hurricanes always put me on high alert.  The adrenaline brings out the conspiracy thinking 
 Sounds exhausting! 
 Sure is! But brings the whole firm and friends around and is spiritually enriching to think about hard times! 
 Particularly when there's actual havoc in the mid east right now it makes the prospect of new "weather" all more in focus.   
 It’s a big world, there’s plenty of room for all the possibilities.
