I would love to make puzzle transactions on bitcoin but I can’t because they are non-standard, i would have to use a custom api. Am I being censored? I don’t think so, I am just being de-prioritized but nodes because bitcoin is designed to maximize the user experience of the most common action: transferring value between individuals in the smallest footprint possible. Not games or data storage.
yes filtering out some things like ordinals is doing transaction censorship
the mempool has been filtering many types of valid transactions since bitcoin was created, why has noone been complaining until now? And why give exception to inscriptions?
There is no possible way to „filter inscriptions“ just a stupid if else block in the code could do what you want and you know this!
I have no idea what you are talking about
What do you think about inscriptions that would be a short string pointing on a resource from another blockchain (like a hash or something)?
you can do that on bitcoin core and knox just fine. It makes way more sense. Could just be a content-addressable hash in a decentralized storage protocol.
Thanks for your insights. Sorry it's ambiguous to me what you're referring to for "knox", could you be more specific?
In terms of decentralized storage, I was thinking about the arweave blockchain
