@134318c2 It doesn't help that the AC adapters are usually only labelled with the name of their third-party manufacturer while also only being usable on one device - so if you find one around the house, you don't know what it's for, so you end up keeping it just in case. As an aside, I also have a few devices I can't use because I can't find the correct adapters for them...

@134318c2 AC adapters should be forcibly standardized to exactly three types, and if any company makes a thing that requires an AC adapter that is not one of the 3 types, a minimum of 5 randomly selected company board members must be launched into the Sun.
