 UTXO quit I guess yesterday and then I just saw a post from Gek that looks like he's quitting. But maybe I just misread it. Rockstar recently. Roya before that. Maybe they're just creating new npubs but idk I kind of like them for who they are and don't understand making a big fuss over leaving. Take a few days away and come back refreshed, but leaving altogether seems extreme and shortsighted.  

 That’s a lot actually! I can see some coming in with fresh npubs, others are probably gone for good or have a new npub just to peek in from time to time.

 They say to be focused on privacy, which is fair. Isn't social media critically based on a Web of Trust? If so, trust needs stability. I cannot trust a random wirdo nym thay just came up in my Global with no history, no contributions etc. Proof of Work is needed, and POW needs time.

 Ideally they’re networking more IRL instead. But I kinda doubt that is the case.

I came to nostr knowing it was a censorship and freedom place, i undersatand people might have opsec concerns but to rage quit because rando's were rude, sorry i just dont get it.
They knew what the were signing up for. The downside of freedom is it applies to all, and its our responsibility to curate our own feed.
Freedom is hard work, and as a society we've become used to being safe and protected by others.
Personally, i fucking love  nostr ❤️
