Ok, so, say,.. metals (gold, silver, platinum) are used as money, and you want settle a transaction worth 1 ton gold money, that has to be transported to 500 miles to deliver the money to the payee, but you have to pay the transportation cost in gold, because gold is the money, same with #btc ,it has production cost, it is real asset like the metals. So, it has transaction or transportation cost, it can't be free. I often hear folks talking about transaction fees, #btc will have transaction fee. ☕👍
Ok, so, All useful and scarce things have a cost or opportunity cost.., they can't be free,..,the vast sea water is freely available, it has no price tag.
