Nobody has a perfect roadmap in life, we learn as we go. You’ll figure it out.
I say if you’re thinking about it, just do it if the opportunity is there.
A couple years to start generating positive cash flow isn’t bad at all.
It’s sad that we all think in the back of our heads that it could be scripted. Just that thought alone.
Jake doesn’t need the money, it’s possible mike does though.
At one point, back in the 70’s there were around 250 snowmobiling manufacturers.
For quite some time now, there’s been only 4 left. Skidoo, Polaris, Yamaha & Arctic Cat.
Last year, Yamaha pulled the plug on its sled division. This year, Arctic Cat is pausing production by the sounds of it. I personally think they’re done.
It’s sad to see another manufacturer on the way out, but with low snow winters and only a few weeks to ride them in some areas, it’s hard to justify getting into the sport.
Entry level sleds for kids start at around $5k, then entry level for teenagers & adults start around $10k or so.
Then you get into $20k-$30k trail cruisers and hyper sleds.
When times get tough, the toys are always the first to go, and people are selling off their toys like crazy right now, and not even thinking about buying a new one.
Even with good rebates and incentives on new recreational and powersports products, a lot of people just aren’t buying.
Times are usually pretty good when people are spending money on recreational and powersports products, but when they start selling them all off, it’s a pretty good indication of the current times and the ones ahead.

Morning @Holdilocks
It’s definitely hard to justify investing thousands into a sport.
I do hope we get hammered with snow this winter though, it will certainly help the manufacturers.
Snow makes some people spend, even if they don’t have it.
Often times I consider getting out of the sport just from the low snow winters we’ve been experiencing alone.
But, as soon as I see those snow flakes coming down, I get excited again. Something about a smooth trail
The mark of the beast will some sort of tattoo/barcode on your skin or maybe some sort of digital chip implant. Without it, you won’t be able to buy anything.
I would have to think a CBDC would be a much closer fit to what your friend is thinking.
Morning☕️
My wife is sick, (if I was that sick, I’d be in bed) yet she still manages to find the energy to bake banana/chocolate chip muffins last night.
Not a bad breakfast🤙🏼
If you have a woman or can find yourself a woman that just doesn’t stop and takes care of the family no matter how she feels, you’ve already won in life.

Anyone know what’s going on with the Jade lightning wallet?
Had about $250 in it and now it’s gone. Not a big deal, but just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this?

No worries Adam, it’s a great little article and we all need to be reminded to have patience and to not let our egos get the best of us during the upcoming bull run.
Wow, can we be friends?! lol
I haven’t fished in about 10yrs ever since our family cottage was sold. I’ve recently re-connected with a buddy of mine that lives 3.5hrs away where our cottage was. We used to troll in the 14’ tinner for walleye, and used to slay them on F11 rapalas in about 10’ feet of water. I asked him if the lake is still any good, he says it’s dead. It was heavily fished unfortunately.
Loved walleye fishing on that lake, they always hit hard and tasted even better!
I have thousands of dollars worth of fishing gear and it’s been collecting dust up to this year. I actually just got my license again so I could get the kids out this past year, but I personally haven’t actually fished😂
My buddy and I picked up right where we left off which is good. He has been hunting & fishing his entire life, so definitely considering going with him on a hunting trip.
I used to ice fish quite a bit back in 2009-2011, even had a 2 person clam hut. Still have all the hard water gear, just no hut.
I’ve taken up snowmobiling in the winter time, therefore haven’t had/made much time for the hard water fishing.
Fishing overall is definitely something I want to get back into. It was so much easier when we had the family cottage to go to.
Snowmobiling (trail riding) has turned into a huge passion of mine over the past 10yrs or so, so that’s the main reason ice fishing has taken a backseat.
I feel if I’m ever able to buy a cottage of my own one day, that’s when I’ll build a hut and get back into ice fishing again on a more regular basis. But, since reconnecting with my old buddy again, I’ll likely get up north where he is located at least once and get out for some ice fishing. Im hoping for it, but I’m that type that waits for an invite, so we’ll see what happens. Fingers crossed 🤞🏼
Forgot to elaborate more on the walleye and laker ice fishing. All I’ve ever caught for walleye was around the 3lb range open or hard water.
Only caught one laker during hard water season which was around 8lbs and was caught on my moms Walmart special. Likely only 2-4LB test line. It was out there all day, and went I went out to check on it at around 5pm the rod was pointing right down the hole, bale was open somehow, barely in the rod holder and hardly any line left on the spool.
I was like wtf? Closed the bale, reeled up all the slack and then realized It was game on. No idea how long he was on there for but damn lucky to get him into the freezer. Noticed his one fin was clipped so it was a stocked fish and was likely stocked years earlier. This was when we had the family cottage.
