I use venice.ai very often. Maybe it is not as sophisticated as other GPTs. But the fact that is decentralized, is what encourages me to use it. Also I am a big fan of Erik Voorhees, which is one the personalities who has done more for decentralization. A real #btc visionary!!
I would support centralized restrictions if the use of them would be to protect individual rights when necessary (in fact, this is the real legal reason those restrictions exist). But we all know that this is not the case.
Usually when they restrict you, someone is taking advantage of your rights. A problem is magically created, then caos take place and after that, there is a perfect solution: to confiscate your rights. Basically someone is taking your rights without your permission and sometimes those rights are related to your property. This is why we all need to own something which is permissionless, decentralized and unrestrictable.
Maybe you don't care, but I want to show you my Lifestyle:
- No drugs, no alcohol, no parties
- I accumulate allodial property, #bitcoin
- I use a decentralized a social media called #nostr
- I use a decentralized GPT, called venice.ai (if someone knows about a similar tool, please tell me)
- I listen to nostalgic/relaxing music
- I listen & read to "alternative" media podcasts/media
- I learn everyday something new about decentralization & new techs like AI, QC, Nanotech, etc...
- I learn about astrology, futurism, how the brain works, sciences related to probabilities, gematria, tarot, numerology, maths, etc...
- I don't listen/read the media and if I do so (only those things that affect me directly)
- I learn about history and try to compare the past with the present & the future
- I listen to people who think in an opposite way of mine in order to understand in which aspects am I wrong or viceversa
- I talk with people much more smarter than me, they teach me a lot
- I don't buy expensive clothes/cars. I don't care about brands, because I don't own stocks of these companies
- I don't participate in politics
- I am always available for my family & friends, no matter what
- I research on how to get off-the-grid & this is where I spend a big part of my time
I hope you like it. If not, you can also tell me. And if you want to share your lifestyle and tell me what you do, I will be more than happy to read that.
I think developing countries will be the most benefited from Bitcoin since they are the ones who need it the most and therefore they will be the first nations to adopt BTC. Bhutan, El Salvador, maybe Surinam, etc...
#bitcoin and #decentralization in general are not only about making money or achieving success. It is also about VALUES:
- It is about respecting other people's property and privacy rights.
- It is about making the individual, a sovereign of their own decisions and actions.
- It is about about giving power back to the people.
- It is about ending wars.
- It is about allowing inviduals to become their own bank.
- It is about freedom of speech and opinion.
- It is about freedom of movement.
- It is about challenging illegitimate powerful entities & groups.
- It is about scaling technology in a huge way
- It is about giving free & valuable education to everyone
Basically, it is about improving people's lives. It is about being a good human being.
It allows me to feel free. In fact, just the fact of supporting freedom makes me happy. We are so lucky to be living these times, when a new technology is able to solve big problems of our society.
I am a bitcoiner, but I agree with you. #nostr is about freedom of speech, is not only about economic freedom. As a free thinker & talker you have the right to have a good/bad/neutral opinion about bitcoin.
