@6a575c59@606c482f@6bb89eb5 ok, if the value tag was updated in the RSS feed *after* the "going live" Podping was sent, then a 15-20m delay could be significant.
Podverse re-parses feeds that send a "going live" Podping immediately.
But for "feed updated" Podpings (different than "going live" Podpings), there is a 10-15 minute delay before those changes are reflected in Podverse.
So if Spencer updated the feed *after* live, then sent a "feed updated" notification, that might explain the issue
@6a575c59@606c482f ok, I guess I need ask @6bb89eb5 then, do you remember if Steven's value split was in your RSS feed *before* the "going live" Podping was sent? If no, that might explain the issue. If yes, there must be some other cause...
@6a575c59@606c482f@6bb89eb5 and one more question Chad, do you know approx how much time passed between when you received the notification, and when you restarted the app to resolve the missing value split?
Sorry these are tedious questions 😅 but they help track down potential areas of slippage with our system.

Big personal announcement: I quit my day job and will be working on Podverse full-time for the next 3 months 🥳
I'll be living off savings and still won't be paying myself from Podverse, but I can manage till the end of the year, and hopefully get some major feature work done to get us to the next level.
What features or fixes would you most like to see in Podverse before the end of the year?
I'll share my tentative list below...
@6a75920f@9fb1799e so we do have some caching for chapters, that automatically gets reset once per hour...I'll check in on the chapters in ~30 minutes, and if they're still out of date, I may need to come up with a manual way to flush that cache.
@fce803cc ok great. I should be able to add podcastGuid no problem, although why feedID is missing is still a mystery to me.
I just sent a boost from our prod mobile app for today's P2.0 episode around 1:10:00 in when the time split is active for 5555 sats, in case you need an example to look for.
@fce803cc just a reminder on this. I am curious if Podverse is always missing the feedID, or if it sometimes comes through, and sometimes doesn't. In all my tests so far is appears we are passing a feedID with an integer value, but there could be a case (edge case?) where we are missing it.
@fce803cc another question...passing the feedUrl is going to be trickier than passing the podcastGuid for us...I would have to re-write our ORM queries to specify each individual SELECT for podcast data, from both our podcast and episodes controllers...it's certainly doable, but a lot more more work and more room for error. I'm thinking of just releasing an update with the `guid` TLV for now? I feel like the vast majority of V4V enabled feeds should have a podcastGuid at this point anyway?

@fce803cc yeah...our traffic and downloads keep going up for Podverse, which is great, but the day-to-day overhead grows with it until I've been up over my ears in tasks. We're systematizing and organizing though and I think we'll be back on top of things and making more visible progress soon.
Anyone have experience setting up a BTCPay server? Or something comparable?
Podverse occasionally gets requests to buy a membership with Bitcoin, which we handle manually and say they can donate to our Bitcoin address if they'd like. It'd be nice if we could automate these like the other purchase options.
It's not a high priority, but if someone may be interested in helping setup BTCPay or another open source alternative we could pay a bounty.
@b0cbe1bb re: the issues you've run in Podverse with getting logged out from Alby...when you log into your Alby wallet, are you selecting the "stay logged in for 30 days" option?
@fce803cc thanks, it shouldn't be very complicated. I'll just need a solid few hours to make all the changes needed, and I'm having a hard time getting a few hours at a time to dedicate to PV lately.
