I!!! still can't get over how cool it is that Toki Pona just!! lets you introduce yourself as a human, or an object, or an animal, or whatever!!
like!! yes!! screw you!! I AM bird!! hell yeah!!! caw caw!!! aaaaaa!!! 🥰🥰🥰
#tokipona
oh god what
I've spent the weekend walking around a furcon with my lil fursuit tail on
and I've legitimately had like,, phantom tail all day now
don't get me wrong, it's really cute in a weird and inexplainable way, actually!! ~v~
but also!! oh man it gets a little silly being like "ah crap I caught my tail on something-- wait why am I wearing my tail at work-- wAIT IM,, FUCKIN,, NOT! STILL!" at random intervals during the day xDD
I went searching for furries on nostr today and holy fuck is it dire
None are to be found in the wild, no groups, no hashtag activity, no nothing. A desperate google search reveals a "nostr furries list" website, listing a grand total of, like, 9 accounts, and like half of them have AI avatars.
Bro 😭
#furry #nostr
holy fuck #mostr kinda?? sucks???
it's so neat in theory, but like,, if I'm using hashtags to look for people with fellow interests on #nostr? there's nothing more frustrating than seeing the hashtag feed is filled with mostr posts, completely destroying any chance of me finding any actual nostr posters,, fmnhmfg
I wish there was a way to just hide these from search results, they're spam at this point
mostr (and momostr!) are nostr-fediverse bridges! they let people from nostr see and interact with posts from fediverse accounts, and vice-versa.
you can find out more at https://mostr.pub and https://momostr.pink/
it's definitely a really neat thing to have!! but it sometimes generates a lot of noise in search results when trying to look for people actually on nostr. P;
Ha, nostr and all the other dweb social networks. Despite bsky having had a big boom period, now - just a couple months later - most of the people in my circles are back to being most active on Twitter, despite having their twitter usernames still promoting their bsky/masto handles. The network effect is strong. P;
yeah, like... seems like the "devs" here is less "developers" and more "spec writers".
having spent way too much time digging through the countless AP projects, I can safely vouch that ActivityPub has a boatload more than just 4 devs, but - if I remember correctly - the original spec was written mostly by 4 people(?)
either way, this slide is wack
