It seems that you are suggesting it's not like it is in the movies, vaguely wave a paperclip at them, flick the wrist at them and they are on the floor?

Apropos nothing much at all, it would be around this time that Phil Neale was playing for Lincoln City. He was the last player to play football and cricket professionally at the same time. Eddie Helmsley(?) also played both around this time, football for Sheffield United, can remember who he played cricket for but he must have retired before Neale. I wonder why I remember these things??

That bored, brave very brave! Where did you get the cuffs that you photographed on your thigh a little while back? Loved cuffs (and the thigh of course!)
Having been on here for a while now and seen lots of lovely people in my timeline, it's occurring to me that I may already be a little less 'het' than I was when I did my introduction.

Of the lines that make me smile, no matter how often I hear them, pretty much the whole of 'Lola' by The Kinks and far too meant to mention by Weird Al.

For what it's worth, I've heard a fair amount of classical music over many years, I would be surprised if I could put a title to 5% of it. I'm old enough to know Ravel's Bolero from Torvill and Dean and I'm sure I'll have heard Vivaldi's Spring but wouldn't be able to put a name to it, the other one I know nothing about.

I think I'll wait a while, it's not as if you're going anywhere. OMG seamed stockings!! :sparkling_heart: :sparkling_heart: :sparkling_heart:

Love that they still play it very much as originally recorded. So many vids on YouTube of live performances over the years, all run about three and a half minutes and nothing more than minor tweaks.

Being born in '58 I've always felt like a bit of a heretic amongst my generation as I have no liking for any of his music. The only appreciation I have for him is once removed as I've heard members of bands, whose music I do enjoy, have said they were influenced by Elvis.

That zip looks well stuck. I'll be happy to make my teeth available to help free it up? P.S. You'll have to post them back to me pronto before I get too hungry.

I used to be obliged to despise the Giants and then Fisher shipped the A's LV and now you have Bob Melvin; I might have to review my position.

I run Bitdefender and have done for many years and I'm pretty sure I no longer have any flavour of IE installed. Any links from within the app open in the default browser without any issues for me.

Perilous Journey by Gordon Giltrap. The albums before and after were excellent also (Visionary and Fear of the Dark) but Perilous Journey is my favourite.

Unlike spaghetti, nylons don't grow on trees so swift retribution would need to have been administered? So, all in all, that would make for a good date?

I seem to remember reading that Connery also worked as a gravedigger. I can never remember where I read these things so I'm never sure if I'm just perpetuating BS.
