Why even have a reply feature on a social media feed if anyone that dares to reply in a contradictory manner to the original post is branded as a "reply guy". Heaven forbid someone try and break in with a different perspective in social media. We're trying to propagate and grow an echo chamber here!
Statistics can be, and is often, abused. But there's no doubt that the normal distribution is a frequently occurring pattern in nature. Just an aside, but you may enjoy "The Lady Tasting Tea." Excellent book. Another book I enjoyed on the topic of the use of statistics in financial modelling is "Against the Gods: The Remarkable Story of Risk"
Apparently my very mild reply to your post about the normal probability distribution being a "bullshit psyop" where I recommended a couple of books that I enjoyed on the development of statistics and use in finance has me branded as a "reply guy". Dialogue not encouraged on Nostr, message received.
Yeah, my mistake. Both of my replies were caught by a "Reply Guy" bot. I thought I was added to a list for being a "reply guy", similar to a twitter list. Did some searching on here and seems there's a bot running amok.
This whining from political partisans about the mail-in ballots being slanted towards the democrats, for many explainable reasons, is really exhausting.
