There’s nothing that I’m going to say about #Bitcoin that hasn’t been said before by someone smarter and more well spoken than I am.
That’s not why I post about #Bitcoin.
I post because the altered reality you start to live in when you fall deeply down the rabbit hole can be lonely. It can strain old relationships, flip your world upside down and ostracize you from the “normal world”. While WE all know this is a good thing, the normal world is sick. It can still make you feel like you’re going insane from time to time.
I post so that you know I’m right here with you. Walking the same path. Stacking sats and praying for hyperbitcoinization so we can start to rebuild what has been stolen from us. I hope I’m alive to see it, and I hope all of you are there too. 🤙💜
I have yet to see the benefits that come from technology used in a way that offer more freedom to the population. The rewards of humanity becoming more productive have gone to a select few while the average person falls further and further behind.
When it comes to AI I feel that it’s like the equivalent of the arms race when the nuclear bomb was developed. What happened to those countries that couldn’t weaponized themselves fast enough? Global power was shaped in those crucial moments.
Only now it’s about domination of the entire race. And there is no way for the average citizen to protect themself. We can’t make a nuke, per-say. We are defenseless against AI for the most part and all we can do is hope that it’s used properly. But what does history tell us? It won’t be used properly and it will be used to further enslave the human race.
Hard to come up with that image.. on one hand we have the opportunity for true human flourishing without govt corruption and money manipulation curtailing our ability to create, dream and act. On the other hand I have my personal vision for my future that #Bitcoin will help my create. One is a global utopia. The other is a much simpler existence.
The world we live in is extremely punishing to those that don’t manage their money properly. I think most people are living lives of half fulfillment and half “making do” because of money worries
What do you think it is that woke some of us up, while others are doomed to suffer the exact fate you just laid out above? Do thoughts think themselves? Or have we downloaded something from a universal consciousness, were we chosen to awaken?
People already rely on their technology for too much. Imagine 3 or 4 generations from now. Will kids even know how to spell when a computer does it for them in milliseconds? Will all the wisdom handed down from generations and thousands of years be gone? Have we already witnessed the greatest song ever made, movie, the best book to be written, painting,etc? Between creative kids being fed brain medicine to help them “focus”, the dumbing down of society, bipolar people thinking it’s an illness rather than a gift, it’s quite possible. And then imagine if they take the phones away. A population completely dependent on technology to run their life suddenly gets rug pulled… what happens? This feels rather bleak…does #Bitcoin fix this?
I’m sure that’s true. We know very little of reality and our way too much faith in our perceived reality. So much more is happening than we can actually perceive.
