Good luck. I entirely gave up with LN and zapping after trying to make this work. Repeated tries failed.
Alby wanted to "schedule a call" for tech support like some shitcoin company and wouldn't just explain it in public NOSTR discussion. Despite my request to do so - so others could reference it.
Their webpage to set this up is a 404 ( well it was at the time - I don't care to check now).
LN and zapping only *really* work custodially unless you are cool with paying a huge friction & time vigilance tax.
Expensive novelties are not my bag.
Take a week to learn Hydra and have someone project morphing geometric video synthesis. It can be BPM matched or even be controlled via MIDI and/or raw audio.
It's FOSS.

It is definitely based on that, much was said of this when it launched in 2020.
I use it (various separate vaults) to store and organize siloed areas of things I need to reference (house maintenance; finance; production techniques; idea dumps).
You can use it to create your own personal wiki however you'd like.
Don't ignore the canvas, either. Great tool if visualization is important to your ability to gel things (I have a hard time feeling I am in control of my comprehension unless I can "see" the ideas).
There must be a chart which shows what percentage of this occurs non-custodially though. I think recognizing that is important because mostly the whole phenomenon is reliant on third parties.
It's quite concerning.
Custodians can only evade money transmitter regulations so long. That's the main concern in my opinion.
I have given up on sovereign LN. So many frustrations and failures in my many concerted attempts. Years of efforts. Hours upon hours of my scant free time did not end well spent.
Tired of the cheerleading in the context of reality-based feasibility of LN as a solution.
2019/2020: "you can run a sovereign LN node with a raspi!"
You can see how ridiculous and misleading that was now. But some could have resolved to messagemore appropriately from the outset.
I see a parallel phenomenon happening here on NOSTR with zaps.
Very frustrating for someone who is already fully convicted on the SOV functionality though.
I did try it. A lot. And mostly it failed. But the "it" being LN and not BTC.
Can't conflate BTC and LN as one "thing".
Have just concluded my third attempt in 3 years to run pleb LN. You haven't even mentioned the software problems which lead to channel closure (whoops, the app is just gone! It was there yesterday!)
The message arrived 3 years too late.
At least @ODELL is pushing back in this episode against whether plebs "SHOULD" pursue certain technical paths. Over the years I have noticed those with developer type brains generally fail to place themselves into the shoes of people without their capabilities, and they obscure and gloss over super important details which would under-sell their perspectives.
Running LN is such an example. Had I heard this episode in 2020 I would have avoided it entirely... as well as running a node on a RasPi (again, you CAN but probably SHOULDN'T).

Omlette:
Thinly slice and mix into egg; salt, pepper; bit of cheese (feta is best IMO); any other ingredients to taste (bacon, onion etc).
Smoothie:
Toss with milk into blender; vanilla protein powder etc; blueberries or frozen banana; pineapple.
"Dry old crone, half naked, her paps like wrinkled aubergines hanging from out of the shawl she wore."
Cormac McCarthy sure could paint a detailed picture with words alone.
Testing an embed link here. Uh, #btc to the moon or something.

Yeah please let us move in this direction. How TG with its monolith scroll ever found such wide adoption is a mystery to me.

Is this a YT embed in your post or how do you get it to display like that?
Not exactly optimal on amethyst unfortunately... doesn't retain playback position after the screen goes to sleep.
Man, I really feel bad for Matthew Mezinskis.
First, he is so early that his podcast feed is called "Crypto Voices" (this will weed out lots of bitcoiners) with a logo that is supposed to be a microphone created by the letters "C" and "V" but actually just looks like an iced cream cone.
Yesterday he posted a new video explaining that since a lot of what he does requires a chart to convey its full meaning he will not be sending those pieces to the podcast anymore, they will only be available on YT and Rumble.
He clearly doesn't know yet that #v4v podcasting can show images which are time synched.
Then he has to shill Trezor as one of his sponsors.
This guy creates amazing data that is in a class of its own (base money stats). It's WELL WORTH becoming familiar with.

Very high quality actionable post. 👑

I kind of forgot about highlighter... I really like the idea. Are ppl using it? I forget how it works but if I recall it should be showing up in your NOSTR client, right?
IDK if you can paint the whole picture with one brush stroke.
No doubt SOME of those numbers are motivated by that... but definitely not all.
You're smart AF but this just seems, well, dumb.
I'm highly subjectively critical of religions BTW.
They released "Forever" on bandcamp only in a successful strategy to actually make some money last year (wasn't on streaming).
Yeah, I bought that right away.
We need to get them on NOSTR and participating in #v4v. That would kick a row of dominoes down a flight of stairs in terms of ppl adopting it.
