 @06d3112a I recommend Habitat for Humanity. Their Restore outlets sell good quality used furniture. Sales fund building and repair of homes in your area.
They will pick up from your home or you can take donations to their stores. I was very pleased that I was able to donate a lot of gently used items before I moved cross country. There is no better cause.

 @2fb58b9e After dropping back to a little over $4.00/gallon in the spring, gas prices in our area of Southern California have soared to well over $6.00! Have been unable to find any valid reason for it.
