@664d1a86 it sounds like general fear of putting down defenses but latching on to a specific things.
So it's not unusual. Just a specific manifestation of general fear.
Always remember the Church of the SubGenius is NOT for Capitalism, but Free Enterprise.
Plus it lets people call us everything from Commies to Anarchists, sowing further confusion among the Pinks . . .
Man. I realized by end of month I'll be putting together the 3rd Xenofact Xine. I'll have been at this for 3/4 of a year.
Gotta say this blogging/zine fusion really speaks to me.
Also you can grab them at these addresses (free PDFs!)

It took me two migrations to get a mailing list working for a SubGenius writing project.
I sacrificed a lot of slack for that. Man, some things are too complicated or the wrong form.
@3840abd4 I can agree with that actually. "Economic Sociology" as it were.
I wonder if considering "The Economy" as some identifiable, studiable, distinct entity is a cultural/political distortion.
Are you a SubGenius? Want to pretend to be? Then get the Dobbstown mirror and support our efforts. Or support us to UNDERMINE US FROM WITHIN.

"In the highest antiquity, the people did not know that there were rulers.
In the next age they loved them and praised them.
In the next they feared them.
In the next they despised them."
Talk of a 4 day workweek seems outrageously low to some.
I invite you to, simply, look at your job and ask how much extraneous bullshit, poor processes, crap software, and time-wasting bureaucracy you do.
A lot of our job isn't our job.
Tonight I made simple food (a stir-fry) and discussed such things with a fellow #subgenius
We forget simple in an age of complicated pseudo-food, fads, and more. Put sometimes meatlof or some tofu and vegetables is heavenly.
@3840abd4 To step away from humor, I view economics as very much a synthesis. Recognized as such its easier, but we have a habit of treating named disciplines as all the same.
