I have a habit of encouraging pretty much everyone I come across.
I like to find out what someone really wants in life but has been too afraid to go for and then push them to go for it.
My wife tells me this is a waste of my time, because often the people I encourage don’t end up following through.
But what she doesn’t understand is that I don’t do it for others, I do it for me.
If 1/100 people take the advice and change their life that’s enough for me.

If you were to be brutally honest with yourself what did you do that caused the business to fail? Or what could you have done differently that would have caused it to succeed?
Yeah entrepreneurship is like staring into the abyss and eating glass.
People shouldn’t glamorize it. It’s brutally hard.
How do you feel now that you’re back in a salaried position?
I would know my numbers well. Maybe go out on a random Wednesday when nothing is going on and stand outside the store all day with a hand counter and just count everyone who walks by. Also see if the person leasing will work with you. Beg borrow and steal. Never pay full price for anything. You have to protect your downside as an entrepreneur
One problem with this belief is that it leads them often to champion the censorship. Everyone should be appalled by censorship. I don’t like when it happens to people I hate, because I know I’m next.
Fun fact: I was the person who wrote the slogan for the coin. “America wins with Bitcoin” ended up being the winner, but I was partial to “The American Bitcoin century”
Back in 2018 my wife used to work in the hospital.
There was this male nurse who would try and hit on her.
One of the other nurses had told him I was a Bitcoiner I guess and when the price collapsed down to 3k, he told my wife “if I was your husband I would have sold”.
I always found it funny.
Not only did this guy want to be me, but in his mind he was a better version of me than me lol 😂
Meanwhile in real life I have the girl and the coins.
I retired my wife later that year.
He still works in the hospital.
It do be facts. Just imagine if this guy instead of having a little inferiority complex had instead been respectful of my relationship and asked my wife to broker a meeting so I could teach him about bitcoin. He’d be a millionaire now. Oh well. We all make our decisions in life. 😂
It’s not. I believe in free speech for terrorists, communists, nazis… whatever. In America they all have free speech. This isn’t rhetoric. These are deeply held civic principles.
