 @be7434a2 yes. How do we DM users? I don't any sort of inbox or envelope to indicate messaging in the app and website.

Also how do we make recommendations on UI improvements? The back arrow icon for post replies isn't intuitive. It should be a text bubble. The user name on posts should be bold so it stands out more.

 So when or will we ever be able to message each other here on Mastodon? I use the Android app.

 @be7434a2 Will we see a time when the character limit to our posts is increased beyond 500 on the Mastodon.world servers? I don't intend on writing tomes but it would be nice to have a bit more space.

BTW... thanks for all the great work you and the other admins are doing here.
