I used this information a lot. It goes along with WoT imo. You see who people you trust have as relays and build yours with that weight. It seems like clients that used to have it have sinced removed it (Primal, Damus, Nostrudel, etc).
In regards to the Saylor video, I think my takeaway is that WE need to step up.
Bitcoin (on-chain) can’t scale to everyone. That’s the fact.
What we can do is continue to build protocols on top of Bitcoin. I think fedimint is the way (personally). I will take it upon myself to set up a fedimint with my family / friends and for my family / friends. It’s a compromise between self custody and 3rd party custody, but the benefits are substantial.
Has me thinking about the largest companies / hedge funds in the world already too integrated with Bitcoin because of the ETFs. What happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object?
Orange pilled one of my friends today. I know a lot of us are discouraged with the majority of people’s perspective on bitcoin. It’s important to remember that some people are one conversation away from taking a leap.
People who have built their wealth on the existing system are, of course, going to reject it being replaced by a better one. I'm seeing this attitude more frequently.
