I used this information a lot. It goes along with WoT imo. You see who people you trust have as relays and build yours with that weight. It seems like clients that used to have it have sinced removed it (Primal, Damus, Nostrudel, etc). 

 Coracle does also show web of trust information on the relay browse page too
