I brought a little HP Laserjet back from the UK as (unboxed) carry-on baggage, and it performed perfectly for almost twenty years.
These days I use a little Canon laser, picking up new but unwanted cartridges on TradeMe for less than ten bucks a shot. I've also picked up two identical, almost new Canon printers for a dollar each from students leaving town. If one printer fails, I just swap it out for the same model.
Just wait until we get saddled with AI printers!

I've recently been spending time in an Oncology ward and as soon as the hospital mask mandate was dropped, masking dropped from 100% to around 30% overnight. Patients only. All of the medical staff are still fully masked.
When I arrived in the waiting room, I felt like saying loudly "Good morning to everyone wearing a mask." But I didn't.
The majority of people are ill-informed & lack empathy.
