It's not surprising one of the most viewed auctions ever on TradeMe was for a possessed printer.

A HP printer no less.

I brought a little HP Laserjet back from the UK as (unboxed) carry-on baggage, and it performed perfectly for almost twenty years. 

These days I use a little Canon laser, picking up new but unwanted cartridges on TradeMe for less than ten bucks a shot. I've also picked up two identical, almost new Canon printers for a dollar each from students leaving town. If one printer fails, I just swap it out for the same model. 

Just wait until we get saddled with AI printers!
