Reading @c8565328 ‘s Starter Villain and I can’t help but wonder if the part about very specific GrubHub instructions was inspired by the people who had delivery drivers throw pizzas over a fence while they were out of town.
@663e5b60 it lines up with most things I’ve seen the past few years explicitly naming China as the “pacing threat” (eg national security strategy, national defense strategy…)
@663e5b60 the one good thing I’ve seen is some return of the idea that competition (not all-out conflict) isn’t inherently bad. Like, it’s good to not have a unipolar world.
