 @f1c6c5c3 Right, thanks to terraformers …. Marble Hill, I think?  IIRC, they even kept their “Manhattan” phone numbers for decades after the work was done. 

Not that #TheKidsToday know what an area code is much less an “exchange”! (For the record, it's because area codes & exchanges no longer matter …)
