It's so misleading how #Discord calls its communities "servers".
"Servers" makes them sound like they're running on their own hardware and software, when it's all still centralised to Discord's underlying servers.
You want to see actual, decentralised #servers? Look no further than here on the #Fediverse! :Fediverse:
