Imo defending the name "Blockclock" goes against the ethos of decentralization and openness that Bitcoin and Nostr embody. Satoshi never trademarked Bitcoin, and Fiatjaf left Nostr open for all. Their choice inspired trust, innovation, and growth to me.

WTF. Youtube seems to remove my Nostr related comments now. I typed "Open Source is nice, but instead of being a platform, using an open protocol would be even better. By this multiple clients can have different interfaces, while the signed documents are still available from different interfaces. Have a look at SIGit Sigit client which is using the Nostr and blossom protocols to do this.
