As sad as it may be, Russia is already pretty far down the road to a totalitarian fascist state, so the news about Slovakia would have been spun in Russia's favor anyway. They won't serve for much news value in Russia's media sphere (political sphere doesn't play much of a role anymore) and Putler already made clear at the recent UN meeting through his foreign minister that he's going to double down on Ukraine anyway.

The time without social media was better for society as a whole. The acceleration of everyday life has done more bad than good.
