@0a44779f I am not too concerned about the shutdown agreement though. It's just a 45 day extension for negotiations. Slovakia will be interesting in view of a potential coalition government. But the most important election for Ukraine will be held in Poland in two weeks.
@1fa29b3f @0a44779f I think I'm both cases they offer ways for Kremlin politicians and propagandists to keep pushing a narrative that Ukraine's allies are weakening. Whether that's true or not, the fact the Kremlin has more hope also makes them more likely to keep doubling down on their failed invasion, unfortunately.
@b870d4c8 As sad as it may be, Russia is already pretty far down the road to a totalitarian fascist state, so the news about Slovakia would have been spun in Russia's favor anyway. They won't serve for much news value in Russia's media sphere (political sphere doesn't play much of a role anymore) and Putler already made clear at the recent UN meeting through his foreign minister that he's going to double down on Ukraine anyway. @1fa29b3f @0a44779f
