New large study indicates vaccines protective against long COVID
A new study of almost 1.2 million people in Hong Kong demonstrates the protective effect of COVID-19 vaccination against long COVID, and suggests that the more doses people have had the less likely they experience long-term symptoms related to the virus.

@3967703f this country is ridiculous. Flu shots should be free for everyone. And so should covid shots. I read an article last week about the snafus all over the country for people trying to get a covid booster and this was my favorite quote from a guy in Miami: “What kind of country that’s circling the drain am I living in where after years of this public health emergency I can’t get something as basic as a vaccine in one of the larger cities in the country?”
@00b07ccb and all of those chickens destroy the environment. I live in rural southeast US and someone built four giant Tyson chicken houses about 1/2 miles from my house. They are on top of a wetland. The local community tried to get the state, EPA, USACE to stop it but they were like nah it's fine. The factory farm is destroying the water and air quality, and this is happening more and more as the demand for chicken goes up. This stench can be so truly disgusting I'm now a vegan.
I was wasting time on YouTube last night and came across this video on how to make tofu out of legumes, and the same guy has another video on making tofu out of chickpeas. I'd never heard of this! I tried it this morning with brown lentils and chickpeas and it was really easy. Marinated some pieces in tamari sauce and made a stir fry for lunch, it was yummy. Pretty excited about this since it's cheap, high protein, and no soy! #Tofu #Vegan #Vegetarian #Cooking

@2a70c54d I had zero interest in seeing it until I saw the full trailer. It looked so funny I changed my mind. I loved the Barbie movie. That's a sentence I never thought I'd type! Funny, smart, gorgeous sets, and weirdly emotional--especially Gloria's monologue in Weird Barbie's house. Plus the Ken battle 😂😂
