 So there's a demo for the Star Ocean 2 remake available and playing through it right now, I can tell they improved the translation a lot compared to the original

 This was such a good game series and then the 3rd in the series had to come and shit all over it.
They did a soft reboot(?) of it under a different name of Ciel Nosurge, basically the same concept, but I remember it not being very good, It was more VN than JRPG.
