I mean, sending notes is way more frequent than UTXOs
But some sort of signing device that allows me to prove I own the nsec is cool.
The thing clients need though is access to post via npub.
But granting a signing a timed authorization (say every 30 days or something) would be cool idea!
Phones are too easy to steal and insecure.
Having your phone associated to your npub would actually make them way safer. But npub would need to dictate sim, not the other way around.
I've been thinking a lot about his.
TBH an account with password and cryptographic proof of ownership that is nuked if I don't periodically check in would be way better.
They're not supposed to mean anything.
They're supposed to be an easy way to identify an npub
Think payment address vs LNURL.
I give my payment address out verbally and via post 100% of the time - never copy/paste LNURL

As long as it relates back to the npub, it's good.
It's meant for simplicity of sharing a profile. Nothing more. And it acts perfectly.

I just sent sats directly from my bank in Canada to my @primal payment address. Less than 1 second from “e-Transfer accepted” to “sats received”
Super excited to release this in the wild. Well done @bitcoinwell team! 🤩

Looks like Scotiabank thought my stay at home wife was too scary to continue the banking relationship.
It might have something to do with the fact that her husband runs a non custodial bitcoin company.
Probably nothing

Nostr is suffering from low time preference.
Its core principles will help it thrive for generations… something the high time preference of legacy social media will not be around to see.
We are building for our grandkids.
