 @43d7c4ea I thought this was "by design": rather than operating our own gas storage, we sell gas to the Continent in the summer and buy it back in winter - presumably because somebody once added it up and worked out that this way is cheaper.

I wonder how Brexit has affected that economic decision? 

 @40cd5708 Well, number 2 has only four words without too many letters, so I'm going to go for that one. I won't pick number 1 because it would take me about three hours to understand what it means, and then my head would hurt.
