Good question. No I don't think it means you need to wear her clothes. I think what's important is the emphasis on the fiat mentality that allows others to believe they have any control on your style. Granted, wives do tend to believe these things regardless of fiat brain.

That's hard. Both of them are good. I would say I probably like Sanderson more, but that's because I appreciate his subtle way of adding philosophy to the conversation. Not that Heinlein doesn't.
