I want everyone to understand one thing, it's that all the work I will be doing is for #ArchLinux users not afraid of using the terminal or the #ArchInstall script. My goal is to create tools that will make it easier to learn how to build one's system to one's liking and preferences. The power of knowledge is amazing ! I hate taking the lazy route. Being lazy is not the way. Keep your minds fresh !
Even with the Steam Deck gaming on Linux is not perfect. It's getting better though. Not enough not to have a separate #Windows install for the games that refuse to work or flat out won't support Linux coz devs are A-holes...
All am saying is, Windows will always be needed for something or other. There's no escaping it for now.
@6d600a37 I only use qt6ct/Kvantum with Gnome/XFCE coz they are GTK.. When you have time hit me up on Discord we talk in private mabe get my Cala qml to work like that..

@e203a2da Yeah good for you, but one has to go through HELL to get it to work like adding Grub drm flags and mkinitcpio modules.. Not for everyone.. If you could do it doesn't mean everyone does..

@39c11d1e I was thinking of starting it soon. But after your post am rethinking it... I read the books and it was not what I read but good enough to pass the time. If season 2 is worse will skip it.

Starting next release #XeroLinux will only support modern devices, like GPUs, CPUs etc.. I cannot keep supporting legacy ones, as a one man show it's too much work. If it's not officially supported by #ArchLinux it will not be supported by us. You can, however figure things out on your own, it's #Linux after all. #FOSS
Step 1 of bug fixing on #XeroLinux is to revert Calamares a few commits back until it's fixed. It was broke AF... Next is to clean up the packages file. As for #Gnome will leave as is until 45 drops on Arch... #XFCE will remain as is just updated. #FOSS #Linux

I am back at work on #XeroLinux. As part of latest changes, I have decided to discontinue support for #nVidia Legacy drivers, simply because as of Kernel 6.5.x they seem to cause more trouble than they worth. I tried my best to keep them in to no avail. So if you currently own a GPU in the 600/700 series there's a thread that has some information on how you can try to get it up and running. No promises though. You will be on your own for this one.

@6d600a37 I have rebuilt Calamares many times latest was 2 days ago so all good here. I build via latest commit from source.. Tested and working. I do not provide online install it's all offline..
@c71de99a Oh well. Was just trying to help. I use Vivaldi I know a lot about it. Just a recommendation. If you don't want to bother then don't offer n keep it simple. It's your project.
@6d600a37 Thanks for the heads up will include them and sof-firmware on all 3 of my ISOs... Now need to figure out how to make Live environment on Gnome use X11 for compatibility
