Haven’t read too much into #BitKey yet, but am I right in understanding that all three keys are specifically dependent on the continued existence of Block?
If Block goes under, and the mobile app is pulled from stores, are you SOL?
I see their blog says they’re working on a way to export keys if you want to move to a different wallet. That should be a requirement before they begin filling orders.
When I roll my own node in a VM, I prefer to use Bitcoin-Qt and Fulcrum in a live terminal window, rather than installing either or both as daemons.
I just like seeing the information and any issues in realtime without needing to check log files or use additional front-end software. Am I stupid?

Oh man I didn’t see your reply on Snort, wound up using a Debian VM with Umbrel installed (had additional benefits like de facto split tunneling from the host now that Mullvad VPN disabled port forwarding).
But I’ll join to keep tabs and support. :)
