I am too dumb to understand this note.
Me too brother, me too.
I’m waiting for the explanation bc I first thing I thought was Bitcoin cores 10th contributor but that’s most likely wrong idk
I’m usually not this dumb.. jk yes I am @utxo the webmaster 🧑💻 pls explain
The 10th man is that one dude who just disagrees and goes against the herd everytime
THANK YOU I’m so #tard I would’ve never gotten that
I mean, that’s just YOUR opinion man.
And to think about it, having someone like that there is extremely valuable. He goes as far as testing what he says to do. Last thing we need is everyone agreeing on and rubber stamping every single decision. I don’t agree with some of what he says and does but I gotta respect that he brings this.
Is that similar to the 6th man on a basketball team?
Upon my searching, I found that the Tenth Man idea is basically just having someone in your group that is a contrarian to go against the mainstream thinking, presumably helping the group grow as a whole.
And now I am smart enough to get this note. Thank you.
I googled and still don’t understand it. 🫥
A tenth man is basically a contrarian that makes the group better as a whole.
It’s the tenth man’s job to always disagree. Be the devil’s advocate. Ensure the confident majority hear and acknowledge the other side. Prevent overconfidence just because everyone agrees. Everyone agreeing doesn’t mean they’re right. So you have one person who disagrees always as their specific job to prevent complacency driven by groupthink consensus.
