So you know how like, not even a week ago, I said
"Ay yo I'm gonna daily drive Linux on my Windows machine"
Guess what doofus broke it today?
.... so now I'm daily driving Linux on my T420 cuz I can't get friggin sound to work on the Pinebook. Always something with that one.
Honestly? I can respect how well this thing still runs. It does remind you that in its day it was a flagship machine.

So many rock solid machines laid low by bloatware and crappy IT management.
Its why I've dedicated my career to un-suckifying hardware/software management.
An AD joined device doesn't have to be a slow crappy mess. A corporate device can have sane DLP and legally required security without being terrible to use.
It means you've gotta train admins better and set expectations better with management to avoid a crappy UX for the rank and file.
You -can- do both.
