The one on the left, is a wild #apple tree. Picked it on the road. There's no field, no building, just an apple tree on the shoulder of the road.
The one on the right is $1.50/lb from the store. I like the wild one best. I'd like to graft a piece of this tree, it's bug free, tart and crisp.

Lately, the clear skies show stars, but not clearly, due to the haze of atmospheric wildfire smoke.
At sunrise, a clear sky isn't good, it displays little or no colour, but the twilight and golden hour were still producing colourful rays yesterday..

@51fb1883 back in Google Plus days, a young friend from Pakistan, would introduce a new song every morning. I love the diversity of Google Plus. Later you came to Twitter but didn't do the same music in the morning and didn't really participate, but I always start with music so why not share it? I have some pretty eclectic tastes

@48471ca1 I think it's much warmer than that here, just started to rain and we're expecting more and heavier rain thunder showers, and then the start of hurricane Lee. It will probably just bring us some high winds and a lot of rain. It's expected to hit further Southwest of us. But we'll get lots of rain and wind, I'm tying things down

the only local store left, is on the verge of closing. The tiny town has still got a convenience store, but the couple running it are seniors and want to retire, That's the last business for 25 miles. End days of Rural Living
