 @ce72be9b This gives a lot of color to your comments about the events being attended by non-tech (or at least non-Apple) specialists.

There are people who’d cheer for USB-C, and then there are people blown away by, eg, Swift. Different crowds.

I care about the reactions of the latter far more than the former.
