@bf3cb02a, I think I noticed the Nikkor/Takumar contrast difference a couple weeks ago when you were posting Nikon and Pentax photos interspersed with each other. I found I was quickly able to spot which was which before reading your notes.
@bf3cb02a, I could be wrong - I’ve only had the chance to run one roll through my SP500, while I’ve run near 100 through the Nikons since returning to film two years ago.
I’m currently infatuated with the Yashica FX-3/7 - lightweight and simple camera that opens the world of Zeiss C/Y lenses.
@bf3cb02a, very cool. I should look out for one of those 35s. I’ve yet to find a wide lens for 135 cameras that makes me happy although I like the framing possibilities. I do have a pair of Nikon PC lenses in 28mm and 35mm but they require a tripod I don’t always carry.
I have a radioactive 55mm and the same 135mm. It seems to me that the Takumar lenses are higher contrast than the Nikon system.
