 @Christi Junior @Ardainian Right Yeah, but my DS Lite's hinge basically fell off by now, and it's a lot better to be able to trade/battle with other people with my Nintendo Switch (which I can play on a much bigger and more comfortable monitor/screen) than on a DS.


I will also continue to dispute your aesthetic preferences regarding ugly, but at least you concede that it's good they didn't "remake" the character designs to be ugl–... I mean, diverse and inclusive. 

 @Christi Junior @Ardainian Right Well, there's faithful game mechanics (which it wasn't) and faithful character/story designs (which it was, and this was what I cared more about).

After what they did to the character design in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, I was quite concerned they'd have "diversity" and turn half of Sinnoh's cast into darker-skinned obese people where they weren't before. The equivalent to this would be forcing tranny stuff into the North American TTYD. 

 @Ardainian Right This sort of thing is why I was happy about BDSP being a "faithful" remaster, because being "faithful" means no new tranny shit gets inserted.
