@a409275e @3ddab33a They also have more parts and upkeep tasks. My two Pi domain controllers have been running dutifully with zero upkeep besides software updates for five years. My old mini PC needed cleaning, firmware, and used 5x the power.

I wouldn't strap a mini PC on an attic rafter as a temperature sensor, it would fry. The Pi is happy up there, though.
@3ddab33a I'm lazy and asking you instead of looking it up. 😜

How low can the CPU clock go, and is it decoupled from the GPU and Memory clocks?
Oh hey, are you looking to get #fedihired in #Infosec ? Have you had enough corporate-induced anxiety, or maybe you want to do something that makes the world a better place? We have an opening for a Manager of Information Security Operations on a great, small, and growing team of folks who are really dedicated to the broad and noble mission of a university.

This isn't an entry-level position, there is a lot of work to do, but it's a well-established employer with solid benefits and a people-first work culture.

If that stuff sounds good to you and you're up to the task of helping us bring order to the naturally chaotic world of Information Security, smash this link and let us know.

@c67f9a3a that's... surprisingly dry and not-moldy! I hope a roofer in heaven is smiling at their good work.
